A post support fitting for installing timber posts and timber framework. The timber sits on the Post Support out of ground contact, which prevents rotting due to moisture from the ground. The height/level of the square support plate can easily be adjusted which is useful when building structures on uneven ground. Suitable for structurally supported timber posts and framework that need to last a long time e.g. for a basic timber porch or decking framework. Not recommended for free standing posts e.g. fence posts.

Installation: drill a 22mm diameter hole in the end of the timber post for the threaded bar to fit into, the depth of hole will vary depending on how much elevation is required. The post should sit firmly over the threaded bar down to the square support plate. The two nuts are tightened against each other to lock the support plate in the required position. The bottom of the post support is designed to be bolted down to a concrete base, we recommend using M10 Thunder Bolts.

These Stainless Steel lost-head screws are similar in size to a lost-head nail. They are designed to be used as a hidden fixing for tongue & groove flooring and timber cladding but are perfect for many other projects. Tongue-Tite Plus is intended to be installed at a 30-45 degree angle through the tongue of the board, allowing the groove to fit over the head of the screw. This screw can also be used to face-fix boards, the small head is barely visible when when driven just below the timber surface.

Tongue-Tite Plus is a stainless steel screw which is suitable for internal & external use. These screws have a narrow countersunk head with TX10 drive.
Its' single course thread has been designed to eliminate the ream out of the timber, giving high pull out retention, which helps to prevent squeaky floor boards.
The torx drive provides grip and control when fitting, the narrow countersunk head gives a neat flush fix to allow the next board to sit in place.

The CPT post base provides a clean look while providing a 25mm stand off height above the ground. reducing the potential for decay at the post end.
