The Roughneck Cutter Mattock has a head made from roll forged alloy steel, hardened and tempered and with a black painted finish. It has a horizontal mattock edge at one end and a vertical one at the other. Ideal for cutting roots and breaking up soil. The fibreglass handle has a solid core and polypropylene cover.
The Railroad Pick Axe has a head is manufactured from drop forged steel and heat treated for extra toughness. The pick axe head combines both a chisel and point pick, ideal for breaking up and dislodging rocks, stones, mortar, paving slabs or hard ground. Mounted on a solid fibreglass handle, it is not only stronger than conventional wood, but far more durable and requires no maintenance. At 900mm (36in) long, it generates significant striking force and is ideal for heavy work.
