Wood Stain and Protect Cornflower wood stain looks striking on its own or as a background to a planting theme rich in whites or hyacinth and delphinium blues. Wood Stain and Protect Cornflower is a waterproof wood stain that can be applied to planed and sawn timber and will brighten any trellis or fence panel.

Conforming to EN-71 it is also suitable for use on children's play houses and equipment. This long lasting wood stain contains an anti fungal element that helps the coating protect the timber.

Apply 2-3 coats

Advice: 2 coats are recommended with further coats increasing the solidity of the colour. Wood Stain + Protect is a wood stain coating so will wear off over time. If applying Wood Stain & Protect to a garden building that will be subjected to high levels of exposure to weather, it is recommended that you apply Protek Clear Tough Coat as a top coat.
For light colours, we recommend using Protek Stain Blocking Primer to prevent the top coat discolouring from possible tannin bleed.
