Rapid setting post hole concrete, suitable for fixing all types of wooden, metal and concrete posts.
Post Mix is a pre-blended, quick setting concrete mix, which sets in approximately 10 minutes after mixing with water (depending on ambient temperature). Simply half fill the hole with water, then pour the post mix in.
Fencing contractors typically allow 1½ to 2 bags per fence post (this varies depending on the hole and post size).
We offer 33% discount on post-mix when you pay & collect in store!
Dig a hole to the required size for your post and place the post in the hole.
Half fill the hole with water and top up the hole with Post Mix.
Post Mix is pre-mixed, do not mix before use. Simply pour straight from the bag into the hole.
Pour the Post Mix uniformly around the post, until it is above the level of water. If any dry powder remains visible at this stage, add additional water until absorbed by the Post Mix.
Adjust the post into position and support appropriately until the Post Mix sets. Setting time is typically 2-5 minutes to become firm and 10 minutes to fully set. This could be quicker in hot weather or slower in cold weather. Post Mix should not be used in temperatures below 5°.
